Hahaha, I have a french exam this friday, and I should really study since I really need to raise my french mark to an A. Anyway, why not procrastinate and blog?
Anyway, here are some reasons to stay alive despite stress in school (this will focus on student stress). I guess I'm writing this partly because when I am super stressed (98% of the time), I can refer back to this article, and cheer myself up. 1. There is always next time! I know how meaningless this reason may seem, since it is overused and of course my personal immediate thoughts from this quote are "well i'll still fail next time" or, "this (test, exam, job opportunity, etc) was very crucial for my future", but it really isn't. Think about ten years from now, will this really matter? (Cliché and overused question i know, but for a reason! I am SURE that there is still a way to get a higher mark, or re-apply for some program. Besides, 2. If it is not meant to be, it is not meant to be! Personally, whenever I complain to my mom about my marks, she tells me something that may seem vicious at first, but really makes sense once i reflect. She would tell me "accept how dumb you are" (half jokingly, half truthfully). I mean, we are not all born to be issac newtons or albert einsteins, we are mostly mediocre, and guess what? WE NEED TO ACCEPT MEDIOCRITY!!! I mean, i struggle with this A LOT since i'm always striving for marks as high as the nerdiest nerds in the class, but it is so pointless and tiresome; it is just not within my capacity to be such a high achiever! This doesn't mean to give up and accept your limitations (since of course pushing your own boundaries a bit leads to success), but just don't kill yourself when you fail something that you know is beyond you. AND worst comes to worst, you do worse than you normally do, or fail something that you know you should be able to conquer, so what? The past it the past, and worrying now will notnotnotnot get you ANYWHERE, so just SUCK IT UP, STOP WHINING ABOUT IT, AND MOVE ON. :) 3. Calm down, life goes on Since there is nothing that can be done now about the past, just focus on what you can do now to make yourself happier. Begin studying for your next exam (ahem i should really take my own advice, but o well, #hyprocrisy), or apply for another job, or do whatever it is you know you should do. The future is still shapable! I WILL ADD MORE, BUT I HAVE ANOTHER ARTICLE IDEA THAT I WANNA START SO BRB
